what IS chiropractic
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that cares for your neuromusculoskeletal system—the bones, nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. A chiropractor helps manage back, neck and extremity dysfunction through the use of spinal and extremity adjustments to maintain proper biomechanics..
Chiropractic is focused on the body's ability to self-heal and includes other treatments like nutrition and corrective exercise.
Chiropractic assists the neuromusculoskeletal system's ability to perform properly, thus improving the function of other systems throughout the body.

How often should you see a chiropractor
For acute or minor injuries, the number of visits can vary from 4 to 8 visits depending upon the severity of the diagnosis. You can typically expect to experience improvement after the first of second visit. If the injury is more severe (such as in motor vehicle accidents) or has been a chronic condition, you may need 8 to 12 visits to return to pre-injury status. If significant progress is not achieved within a reasonable time frame, our team will refer you to an appropriate specialist. Even when you feeling "fine" it is best to visit your chiropractor every 3 to 4 weeks in order to ensure proper biomechanics are maintained. Prevention is always better the remedy!
